The program:

• 10:00 You meet your guide at your hotel reception in Florence and you have a walk through the centre of Florence, you will follow in the footsteps of ancient Florentine families who have always produced wine and those of fashion designers who love wine and also produce it
• 10:30 Arrival at Gucci Museum and a coffee break at Luca Bottura bistro at Piazza Signoria
• 11:00 You arrive to Castiglion del Bosco Lounge, where the wines produced by Ferragamo family arrive in Florence.
• You will be welcomed in the splendid frescoed rooms of Palazzo Capponi for a professional wine tasting session: Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, IGT and white wine from the Bolgheri area, paired with some local cold cuts, cheese, oil and honey, in one of the most beautiful and secret historic buildings in the heart of Florence, inside a private residence otherwise not accessible to the outside public.
• 13:00 Stop at Palazzo Antinori, which represents the Corporation of the Wine Makers, and have a glass of wine at the historic Procacci shop, managed by the Antinori family.
• 14:00 You are back to your location

The program:

• 10:00 Arrival at the laboratory. You can choose a drawing or a shape in the studio. After a short introduction about the history of ceramic, you will work on the production of a plate or vase, and then paint it with your favorite designs and colors.
• 12:00 End of the experience

The program (10:00–12:00 or 15:00–17:00) includes: a 2 hours lesson with an English-speaking teacher, your ceramic object.

The cooking of the objects produced requires at least three days, 24-hour cooking is possible with a supplement.

The program:

As Venice Lagoon is dotted with dozens of islands and rich of wondrous legends from its glorious and troubled past, it is also a great place for children to live an adventure and learn a bit about its history.

Family and children will be led on the lagoon water by a kayak instructor, having the opportunity to watch the city from a different perspective.
The tour can include an excursion to the Northern or Southern lagoon islands and can be customized according to interests and needs.

Day tour (9:00 – 17:00) includes: rental of the kayaks and English-speaking guide.

This class includes a historical explanation of the Venetian Commedia dell’Arte, along with its typical masks. The explanation is followed by a making and painting lab, in which the children will have the opportunity to customize their own mask and bring it home.

The program lasts 2 hours and a half and includes: workshop in English and the making and painting of your own mask. 

If you would like to learn how to compose your own fragrance, this is your workshop. Under the guidance of a teacher, the participants will be initiated in the art of perfume, shown the basic notions of the compositions and create their own perfume.  At the end of the class, the participants will keep a packaging with eight different fragrances, instruments, small bottles and recipes.

The program lasts 2 hours and includes: workshop in English and the making of your own perfume.

Led by a children animator, this activity is the best way to learn some rudiments about the history of Venice, avoiding long and boring explanations.

The children/family will be involved in a game that includes questions about the city, directions to follow and tests to pass in order to achieve the next step. The game can be tailored around different topics, such as history, legends and mysteries, crafts of the city.

Duration: 1 hour and a half.

Shiatsu–Shiatsu: consists of exerting pressure (with the palm, thumb or elbow) on specific parts of the body (tsubo). This pressure transmits an impulse needed to make the vital energy of the person being treated flow correctly along the meridians (energy channels). The state of health and psycho-physical wellbeing depend on reactivating and maintaining this energy (Ki).

Manual lymph drainage: lymph drainage aims to: detoxify the skin, eliminate stasis, facilitate tissue regeneration, improve skin hydration. “It drains the excess liquids bathing the cells, thus maintaining the right balance of water in the interstitial spaces; it also eliminates the waste products of cellular metabolism”.

Traditional massage: massage has been found to have valid sedative and relaxing effects on the entire venous, lymphatic and capillary circulation system; on the muscular system, in that massage causes greater vascularisation and relaxation, an anti-fatigue effect on the skin making it softer and more elastic; on the internal organs in that it stimulates the intestine and urinary system.

The program

• 10:00 You meet your teacher at your hotel reception in Florence. Guided walking along the town center to Centro Italiano at Piazza D’Azeglio

10:30 Beginning of the lesson called “How to Get By in an Italian Environment.” The didactic method used is the communicative approach, typical of the Indo-European languages. There will be three phases of one hour each:

• Identification (how to introduce ourselves)
• Orientation (passive repetition of some terms and words with the goal of memorizing some key terms and becoming familiar with the sound)
• Interpretation (interacting and role playing with other participants and the teacher)The spirit of the course is to have fun while learning, with the only objective to spark the curiosity and familiarize students with Italian.

• 13:00 Lunch with Tuscan specialties and wines at Restaurant La Cucina del Garga. During lunch, there will be linguistic games and role playing between the waiter and the participants
