Trani and Barletta
History and wine intertwine in these two splendid Apulian towns

The program
• 9:00 Departure from your location by private Mercedes car or van with English-speaking driver
• 10:00 Guided tour of Trani, including the Cathedral, the Swabian castle and the Jewish quarter with the tourist harbor
• 12:00 Visit to the Di Martino farm with its mill and hectares of olive trees, guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil
• 13:00 Light lunch at the farm with local products and wine
• 15:00 Transfer to the nearby Villa Schinosa, an ancient farmhouse and winery. Visit of the estate, vineyards and final tasting of wines and Moscato di Trani DOC
• 16:00 Transfer to Barletta
• 16:30 Beginning of the guided tour of Barletta including the castle, the historic center, the historic “Veleno” cellar where the gauntlet was launched between Italian and French, which led to the famous Challenge of Barletta
• 18:30 You are back to your hotel
