The Oldest and Hidden Museums
Guided tour of Florence’s unknown museums. There are some museums in the old town center that few tourist guides will show you.Many are interesting not only for the objects showed but also for the architecture, the furniture, and the guiding philosophy behind the museum.

The program
- 10:00 You meet your guide at your hotel reception in Florence
- 10:15 Walking along the square to the Anthropology and Ethnology Museum in Via del Proconsolo, guided visit to the museum
- 11:30 Walking towards the Science Museum with its superb planetarium, guided visit to the museum
- 12:45 Walking towards Restaurant La Cucina del Ghianda and lunch with Tuscan specialties and wines. After lunch, the group will be escorted in the Ponte Vecchio area (“Old Bridge”), where the Museo della Specola (Zoological History) is located.
- 14:30 Guided visit to La Specola
- 15:30 You are back to your hotel
