Florentine Chianti bike tour – Full day
A fascinating journey through the cycle paths, from the ancient town center up to the first hills of the Chianti area. Ancient Villas and wineries, vineyards and Roman abbeys welcome you along the road. A picnic with fresh typical food with a glass of Chianti wine. This program offers you bicycles, helmets and a guide who is familiar with the area.The start will be under the statue of Neptune in the Piazza della Signoria.

The program
- 9:00 You find your bike and your guide just in front of your location. You set the bike and you start your itinerary.
- 10:00 Cycle lane along the Arno river
- 10:30 Olive groves and vineyards
- 12:30 Stop for a break admiring at the scenery and enjoying an homemade picnic made of fresh typical food with a glass of Chianti Wine!
- 14:30 Riding along the return route, always in the middle of the vineyards, to Florence
- 16:00 You are back in the heart of the town
Difficulty: medium, with short climbs, 35 km.
The price includes: an expert English-speaking bike guide, hybrid bike rental, picnic with fresh typical products, a bottle of Chianti wine every two participants.
There is an additional charge for the electric bicycle.
