The Bacari, the local down-to-earth version of wine bars, serve tapas traditionally washed down with a glass of wine that were long ago nicknamed ombra, after the wine seller in the Piazza San Marco, who kept it in the tower bell shade to keep the wine cool and fresh.
A tour discovering the hidden Bacari, you will wander from place to place stopping to sip wine and tasting some ‘cichetti’ feeling a real venetian.
Our sommelier will bring you to the oldest bacaro in town, where lengend says Casanova was used to go, or to the most famous for its cichetti or its wines or its bizarre host.
She will introduce you to our local wines and territory and she will guide you by using your senses in a fascinating journey into the Veneto wine world.
