A day with two great small wine makers of Vernaccia
A taste of the hills of San Gimignano through the winemaking secrets
Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Tuscany, Wine tours, 2 - 6 people
The program:
- 9:00 Departure from your location by private Mercedes car or van and English speaking driver
- 10:30 Arrival at Terre di Sovernaja in the hills of San Gimignano and meeting with Federico Montagnani and Mattia Barzaghi.
- You spend an hour or so in the winery learning all their winemaking secrets
- 12:00 You will board a jeep and take a tour of the vineyards, stopping at a vantage point over San Gimignano, where an aperitif is prepared
- 13:00 You have lunch at the winery with a Tuscan menu prepared by Federico’s family, accompanied by his wines
- 14:30 You meet your English speaking guide in San Gimignano for a guided walk
- 17:30 You are back to your location
Day trip (9:00-17:30) includes: private Mercedes car or van with English speaking driver, lunch with a Tuscan menu and wine, visit and wine tasting of all the Terre di Sovernaja wines. English speaking guide in San Gimignano.
