We are back from Italy and our tour could not have been better. Each winery was spectacular. Our driver, Francesco was great – on time, knowledgeable, interesting and made the day perfect.

What is Vinarium

Founded in 2003 by Moradei Andrea, Vinarium was created to showcase the best of Italian wine and food culture with a blend of enjoyment and professionalism. It has since grown into a high-quality slow tourism agency. Today, Vinarium offers tailor-made wine, food, and cultural experiences across Italy, partnering with top hotels, exclusive venues, wineries, and restaurants through an extensive network of collaborators.

What makes your wine tours different from group tours?

Our tours are fully private and customized, no shared buses, no preset stops. You’ll be picked up directly from your location and guided by a local expert who tailors the day to your taste and pace.

Which wines will I taste during the tour?

You can decide, and we’ll guide you toward the best fit for your experience. Options include celebrated Piedmont wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto, and Roero Arneis, along with lesser-known Nebbiolo expressions—often poured straight from the barrel in historic Langhe cellars.

Do the tours include food as well?

This depends on your tour. Each tour can includes regional food pairings and olive oil tastings designed to complement the wines. Some itineraries even include private meals with local ingredients and expert pairing guidance.

When is the best time to take a wine tour in Piedmont?

Each season has its own appeal: spring brings fresh releases and calm cellars, summer offers green, rolling Langhe hills, fall coincides with the famous Barolo harvest and Alba’s white-truffle season, and winter is perfect for intimate tastings of well-aged Nebbiolo wines.

Can beginners enjoy the tour too?

Absolutely. Whether you’re new to wine or a seasoned enthusiast, the experience is adapted to your level. We focus on making wine approachable, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone.
