Biking in Florence: the city and the hills – Full day
A fascinating journey through the cycle paths, from the ancient town center up to a beautiful sixteenth-century Villa on the hills. This program offers you bicycles, helmets and a guide who is familiar with the area so as to spend a few hours pedaling along some of the most beautiful bike itineraries in Florence.
The start will be under the statue of Neptune in the Piazza della Signoria.

The program
- 9:30 You find your bike and your guide just in front of your location. You set the bike and you start your itinerary
- 10:15 Piazzale Michelangelo ,San Miniato church and Pian dei Giullari
- 12:30 You arrive at Osteria Fuori Porta for a wine tasting and light lunch or at La Formaggioteca for a cheese tasting and light lunch with wine
- 14:00 Cycle lane along the Arno river
- 16:30 You are back in the heart of the town
Difficulty: medium – easy, 20 km.
The price includes: an expert English-speaking bike guide, hybrid bikes, helmets, wine or cheese tasting and light lunch.
There is an additional charge for the electric bicycle.

The van was very comfortable and they were flexible to pick us up in one village (Torona) and drop us off in another city (Genoa) which really helped our travel logistics. We highly recommend.
