Truffle hunting and oil tasting
A real truffle hunting with dogs and a fine olive oil farm on the Florentine hills
At the top of Bagno a Ripoli hills, at the foot of a beautiful forest of Oaks, lives Giulio the Truffle Hunter, the ltalian, pioneer of Food Experiences since 1999. You will discover all the secrets of truffles. In the afternoon you will taste the olive oil produced in the same area.

The program:
- 9:30 Departure from your location by private Mercedes car or van with English-speaking driver
- 10:00 You meet Giulio, your truffle hunter, at his home on the hills over Bagno a Ripoli, truffle hunting with him
- 13:00 Truffle appetizer and lunch with a homemade pasta dish and sauce butter parmesan cheese and seasonal truffle flakes. Dessert: house tiramisu. Red wine: Bolgheri
- 15:30 Guided visit to the olive oil farm: Fattoria Ramerino with guided olive oil tasting
- 17:30 You are back to your hotel
Truffles found together with clients will be a free gift for them.
Day trip (09:30-17:30) includes: private air-conditioned Mercedes car or van with English-speaking driver, English-speaking truffle hunter, truffle hunting and tasting, truffle appetizer and lunch at Giulio’s home, guided visit with olive oil tasting.
In the summer period, truffle hunting should start at 9:00 a.m. to prevent the heat from disturbing the dogs’ search, so the start of the tour should be earlier.
