The program:
Each cooking lesson involves a four-course meal paired with wines from the Tasca D’Almerita winery. As each plate is assembled and explained, guests learn not only how to put together local ingredients, but why each ingredient is used: antique wheat varieties for a healthier bread, almonds in place of pine nuts as the landscape dictates, and sardines to substitute salt pay tribute to Sicily’s seas. Each bite is an opportunity to taste and think about the local food landscape. Lunch Lessons take place from 10:30 am on Tuesdays to Fridays and run through lunch, typically ending around 2:30 pm.
The cooking lesson includes: lunch with the wines of the Estate.
