Everything seems like a dream in the Brunello kingdom-the castle and village of Montalcino at the top the highest hill, the roads through the Sangiovese grosso vineyards, the taste from the huge barrels resting in the deep cellars.
The program:
- 9:00 Departure from Porta Romana in Florence and Siena by private 8 seats van with English speaking driver from 4 to 8 participants) or private 16 seats bus with English speaking driver (from 9 to 16 participants)
- 10.30 Visit the Talenti winery with tasting
- 12:00 Short walk along the narrow alleys in Montalcino historical center
- 13:00 Lunch at Restaurant Grappolo Blu or Enoteca Osticcio
- 15:00 Short stop at the San Antimo Abbey
- 16:00 Visit the Poggio Antico winery with wine tasting
- 18:30 You are back to Florence
Day trip (09:00-18:30) includes: private air-conditioned van or bus with English speaking driver, lunch and wine tasting in two wineries.
