Wine and truffle in the Crete Senesi
A real hunting with dogs and a truffle searcher and a tasting of Brunello in Montalcino.
The program:
- 8:30 Departure from your location in Florence by private van and English speaking guide-driver
- 10.00 Arrival in San Giovanni d’Asso, starting of the truffle hunting with a finder and his dogs
- 12.30 You are back to San Giovanni d’Asso
- 12.45 Lunch with a truffle tasting menu at Osteria delle Crete: several appetizers with truffle, an homemade pasta plate (Tagliolini) with truffle, dessert and wine
- 14:15 Short guided walking in S. Giovanni d’Asso
- 15:30 Guided visit to Poggio Antico winery in Montalcino or Poliziano winery in Montepulciano.
- 18:30 The clients are back to their hotel in Florence
