A wine and cooking experience in Montalcino
In a winery on the hills of Montalcino, which produces great wines and an all-female management
The program:
- 9:30 Departure by private car or minivan with English speaking driver from your location
- 11:00 Arrival at the winery Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino and Guided tour of the winery, Cooking lesson and Brunch with wine tasting – 4 hours in total
- Lesson on traditional Tuscan appetizers – choice of 3 recipes out of the following:
- Acciughe sotto pesto-anchovies in a parsley pesto
- Uova ripiene – Stuffed boiled eggs
- Lardo del Chianti - Chianti Lard
- Salsa di baccalà - Cod sauce
- Pesce finto – Pretend fish
- Panzanella - Bread salad
Dessert: ricotta montata - Whipped ricotta cheese
Wines: Rosso di Montalcino DOC and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
