Guided visit to the Villino Ludovisi and a coffee in Via Veneto

9:30 You meet your guide at the hotel reception

10:00 You visit the former Art Nouveau residence of the noble Boncompagni family, which was one of the most magnificent private residences within the walls of Rome. Villino is now a House-Museum which collects paintings, sculptures, ceramics and works of art, coming from the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna of Rome. It houses about eight hundred pieces of clothing, fashion accessories and also temporary exhibits of some creations of famous Italian high-fashion stylists (Gattinoni, Valentino, Roberto Capucci and others).

12:00 After the visit we walk through via Vittorio Veneto. This street became famous as the center of “the sweet life” (“la dolce vita”) and immortalized in Fellini's film in 1960 when the capital was known as Hollywood on the Tiber. You hear the stories of the celebrities who came here to see and be seen, while luxury hotels, alluring lively cafes and luxurious fashion boutiques sprang up along it.
