Cooking program with guided shopping at the market with lunch and guided visit to a Chianti classico winery with wine tasting
The day will start with the choice of the fresh and simple ingredients at the marketplace. You will meet your chef at your hotel. After a short guided walking you will arrive to the S. Ambrogio food market and you will begin your guided tour, shopping the ingredients for your Tuscan menu. Ten minutes walking and the teacher will show how to prepare a complete meal in our kitchen inside an ancient building at Centro Italiano in Piazza D'Azeglio 20. After the cooking class, lunch will be served, accompanied with local wines.
In the afternoon a private minivan with an English speaking guide driver will bring you to visit one of the best little wine makers in the Chianti classico area.

The program
- h. 10:00 Pick up at your hotel in Florence downtown, guided walking to the ancient food market in S.Ambrogio, guided shopping for the ingredients.
- h. 11:00 Cooking program at our location in Piazza D'Azeglio 20, five minutes walking from the food market. You work under the direction of our English speaking chef at the hand made pasta in different cuts: spaghetti and tagliatelle, with two different sauces: pesto (oil, basil, garlic and pine nuts) and carrettiera (oil, garlic, paprika and tomatoes) and at a Panna cotta with chocolate sauce.

- 14:00 Departure by private 8 seats minibus and English speaking guide-driver to the winery in the Chianti classico area.
- 15:00 Guided visit to the cellar and the vineyards with tasting of all the wines produced.
- 17:30/18:00 You are back to your hotel in Florence.
